Autism and iPad apps

Apple announces that children with #autism cannot opt out of apps with IOS^ update. This is great news for those of us who develop and use apps with these special children everyday.

One things that is sorely need is some method of blocking upwanted apps at certain times. The basic RESTRICTIONS options lets you turn off VIDEOS, SAFARI, etc, but there is nothing to stop child from exiting educational app and switching back over to their favorite games. They made things to try and prevent you from pushing the button, but my kid is way too smart to let any such deterrent stop her. I wish there was an app that you could use over the basic apple software that let you say which apps were ok to use and maybe for how long. Apple seems to poo-poo any such apps.
